The house takes its name from the charming cherry tree-lined driveway which leads up to this recently restored two-story stone farmhouse near Cortona.
As you come down the driveway( whose entrance is tucked away near the famous Bramasole villa from the book by Frances Mayes, "Under the Tuscan Sun", you already note the beautiful view of the valley spreading out below. The entire front of the house, has beautiful large full size window/doors to allow you to take advantage of the vistas.

A lovingly restored agriturismo near Cortona. A true "Under the Tuscan Sun" experience, this wonderful restored farm estate lies at the foot of Cortona in a little village of the Tuscan countryside. All rustic-style rooms and apartments have elegant furnishings and tiled floors. Air-conditioned rooms have a private bathroom with toiletries, while apartments have a kitchen with oven and dishwasher.
There are two separate building each divided into 2 independent apartments. Each apartment can be rented separately or the whole property can be rented out as a single unit which accommodates 20+5 people in 4 independent apartments.
